Snawsell Spring Tours at Barley Hall
Step into spring with the Snawsell Spring Tour, a guided exploration of how the changing season shaped life at Barley Hall. With winter behind them, William Snawsell, his family, and their household welcomed longer days filled with fasting and feasting, prayer and pilgrimage, and the many celebrations of the medieval calendar.
As you journey through the hall, our expert guides will bring history to life with immersive storytelling, intriguing scents, and objects to handle. By the end of the tour, you’ll be able to tell your Hock-tide from your Minor Rogations!
